Roger Greenlaw, MD
Title: CHIP Lifestyle: Interventions and Results
Dr. Greenlaw is board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Holistic Medicine and practices in Rockford, IL where he has been the medical director of the Rockford CHIP program. He is Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Dr. Greenlaw places special emphasis on the role of diet, exercise, and stress management in the care of his patients. His lifestyle medicine research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
Caldwell Esselstyn, Jr., MD
Title: Reversing Heart Disease
Dr. Esselstyn is a preventive cardiology consultant in the Department of Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio. He has conducted a 20-year study irrefutably proving that changes in diet and nutrition can cure heart disease. In addition to over 150 published scientific articles, he is the author of Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease. Dr. Esselstyn has served as President of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons and organized the first National Conference on the Elimination of Coronary Artery Disease.
George Guthrie, MD, MPH, CDE
Title: Trans Fats
Dr. George Guthrie is board certified in Family Practice Medicine, has a masters degree in public health nutrition, and is a certified diabetic educator. He has coordinated health education for the islands of Micronesia, was recently the medical director for Lifestyle Center of America in Okalhoma, and is currently Assistant Director of the Florida Hospital Family Practice Residency program where he emphasizes the role of lifestyle medicine. He teaches a community-based diabetes reversal program.
John Kelly, MD, MPH
Title: Two Hearts
Dr. Kelly is board certified in Preventive Medicine and has a masters degree in public health epidemiology. He serves on the faculty in the Preventive Medicine Department, Loma Linda, University. He has served as co-investigator for a congressionally funded clinical trial for lifestyle treatment of diabetes in the Marshall Islands. He is the founding president of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and is currently President and Executive Medical Director of Lifestyle Medicine Education, Inc in Rocky Mount, VA.
Dr. Hans Diehl, DrHSc, MPH

Dr Diehl is Director of Lifestyle Medicine Institute in Loma Linda, California. His pioneering efforts with Nathan Pritikin and Dr. Dennis Burkitt have shown conclusively that many of today's diseases are truly reversible through some simple lifestyle changes. As a best selling author, researcher, dynamic speaker, and top-ranking motivator, he has lectured to corporations and governments and has presented seminars on four continents. More than 40,000 CHIP graduates can testify to the effectiveness of the CHIP program.
Sherri Flynt, MPH, RD, LD
Title: Childhood Obesity & Nutrition
Ms. Flynt is head of Florida Hospital’s Center for Nutritional Excellence, has co-authored SuperSized Kids, and is a member of the Childhood Obesity Taskforce for Central Florida. She has spent the past 15 years helping children become healthier through hundreds of seminars, health fairs, and one-on-one counselng with countless children and their families. At Florida Children’s Hospital she is part of the team developing a pediatric obesity program. She is passionate in her belief that change is possible.
Dick Tibbits, PhD
Titles: Forgiveness: The SDA Health Message and Forgive to Live
Dr. Tibbits works in the field of behavioral and spiritual health helping people to achieve wholeness through lifestyle strategies. He is author of the book, Forgive to Live. His PhD is in psychology, he is a licensed professional mental health counselor, and is a certified Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor. Currently he serves as Chief People Officer at Florida Hospital and is a key member of a leadership team working with the Walt Disney Co. and Florida Hospital in designing the health intevention programs for Celebration Health.

Derek Morris, DMin
Title: The Appeal of the Master Healer
Dr. Morris is currently the senior pastor of the 3,000-member Forest Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church. He holds two doctoral degrees, one in Preaching and another in Practical Theology. He has recently authored the book, The Radical Prayer. Dr. Morris is adjunct faculty for Andrews University and Southern Adventist University. He travels extensively both in the US and abroad conducting seminars, providing university intensives, and speaking for a wide variety of events. He is a strong supporter of CHIP ministry in his past and current churches.
Richard "Dick" Wynn, DD
Title: Christian Leadership
Dr. Wynn has been awarded three honorary doctor degrees including Doctor of Divinity, Doctor of Humane Letters, and Doctor of Sacred Theology. Dr. Wynn has traveled to 67 nations of the world for the purpose of training leaders. He speaks regularly at major conferences and provides consulting services for national and international ministries. His leadership journey is diverse, beginning with 34 years with Youth for Christ. He has also served as the Senior Advisor to the President for Crown Financial Ministries.
Sharon Platt-McDonald MSC, RHV, RM, RGN
Title: The CHIP Challenge!
Ms. Platt-McDonald, a nurse midwife, is currently the Health Miinistries and Special Needs Director of the British Union Conference which includes England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. Her motivational speaking skills are in constant demand throughout the United Kingdom. She has worked as a service manager for the National Health Service and is president of the Writers and Editors Assoc. She is co-author of Embracing the Challenges of Life and Loving It! Ms. Platt-McDonald is an accomplished musician and enjoys playing for her husband, Denzle.
Don Mackintosh, MDiv, RN
Title: Preparing a People
Pastor Mackintosh is the Director of Amazing Facts Center of Evangelism (AFCOE). He has coordinated and conducted multiple evangelistic meetings and bridge events. He has written a fresh series of studies on Daniel and Revelation and the Sanctuary of Scripture and has also produced a series of studies entitled "What's The Connection?" designed to lead people who attend health events to a study of Scripture. Pastor Don has been intimately involved with CHIP ministry for more than 12 years and has played a vital role in the development and expansion of CHIP throughout North America.
Harold Burden, MDiv, MPH
Title: CHIP Stories and Reports
Pastor Harold has been the chairperson of the Adventist CHIP Association since its founding in December of 2000. He was a pastor in Wyoming and then a missionary in South America for 10 years—Lake Titicaca, Peru & Medellin, Colombia. After 25 years as hospital health educator at Portland Adventist Medical Center, he “retired” and became a full-time CHIP volunteer. His is the wit, the wisdom, and the glue that does so much to hold “CHIP in the Church” together.
Kelly Mowrer
Kelly Mowrer travels full time as a speaker and concert pianist. She works regularly with Pastor Mark Finley and hosts two programs on 3ABN entitled "Praise," and "His Words Are Life."

David Gordon
David is an accomplished cellist who has been playing for more than 20 years, including five years with Southern Adventist University Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his job as a recruiter for Florida Hospital, he and his wife are the proud new parents of Aideen.
